ABOUT BETTERMED URGENT CARE
BetterMed was founded in 2012 by five (5) emergency room physicians who identified an opportunity to better deliver on key patient expectations: convenient, fast, affordable, accurate and pleasant experiences. Following the opening of our first Richmond site, BetterMed expanded by opening four additional sites in the Richmond area, then one in Spotsylvania and now our newest site on Plank Road. Three additional Richmond area sites are under construction and will open in 2019. BetterMed Urgent Care offers convenient, affordable and efficient urgent care services in a well-appointed, spa-like setting, walk-ins and appointments welcome; we treat adults and youth. We offer x-rays which are read immediately by Board-certified radiologists. We also have on-site labs and offer comprehensive occupational health services. Finally, in partnership with Brainscope, we provide patients with sophisticated brain assessments without ionized radiation. We're open 365 days a year and most patients are registered, treated and discharged within 45 minutes.
