We are looking for an?experienced Business Development Lead to join our team in Virginia Beach! The Business Development Lead will execute business development in accordance with company strategic development and growth plans. You will work directly with executive and operations lead staff to identify and qualify business opportunities and lead capture activities to win work in the Virginia Beach market. You will engage with current and potential customers, and present SimVentions capabilities and solutions that align to technical needs of customer organizations. The position requires white paper and proposal development support. You will track multiple opportunities in the funnel and participate in business status meetings with program/technical leads and executive staff.
A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
Experience in executing business development activities in other DoD branches or agencies.
Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.
The projected annual compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
